Sun Rising take no greater pleasure than being able to bring this amazing music to the stage. Equally rewarding is when the audience love what they hear and see...
I saw Sun Rising at the Ballarat Rockabilly Festival. They were absolutely the highlight of my day.
Sun Rising clearly have a great time on stage and their passion for songs from Sun Records is infectious. It's refreshing to see a tribute band who don't rely on gimmicks - the members of Sun Rising are great musicians having lots of fun with music we can't help but love.

Because of the nature of my radio program I hear a lot of live music, but I have not enjoyed a performance more than that of Sun Rising- The Songs That Made Memphis. The spirit of that wonderful era is captured perfectly by this group and this was reflected in the sheer joy on the faces of the audience.
Brilliant for lovers of musical nostalgia and also for the newly initiated... Can’t recommend it highly enough!

On the Tuesday of the Adelaide fringe we went along to the Wheatsheaf Hotel and were absolutely thrilled by the performance of Sun Rising. Every one of the band had their own personalities which contributed to the night. What about the keyboard player (better than Jerry Lee Lewis) then if you closed your eyes, there was Johnny Cash singing. Everyone gave well over 100% and the music was magnificent. Several of the CoastFM presenters were in the audience and all were blown away with the performance. Well done guys let me know when you are back in Adelaide.

We were at the Town Hall in Ararat last Sunday night (Ararat Jailhouse Rock Festival) and were lucky to see you perform your show, you guys were sensational. We tapped our toes and sang along the whole way, even got up and danced. We hope to see you on the 19th May in Ballarat.

Wow! What a show. We love the Fringe here in Adelaide and there is always something for everyone.
Sunrising Band (with Cookie) was the best show I've seen in years. The energy and enjoyment within the band was obvious from the start. Rockabillly classics performed without trying to be just another tribute band. ie no impersonations. The audience (many from the previous night) had a ball.
They tell a terrific story in the best possible way and I can't wait for the return to Adelaide. I will certainly be bringing some of my muso friends along with me.
